Our purpose
To be updated on Art Club's current and upcoming events or news in the art community, visit the "News" page. View officer contact information or contact Art Club from the "Contacts" page with any question, request, or suggestion you may have; if you are interested in joining, message Art Club with your full name and shirt size! If you wish to learn more about our club or to look back on what we've done in the past, visit the "Past Events" page; if anyone has any pictures of these events and would like to share them, send them to our president by phone or email.
How do you define artistic ability? Art Club defines artistic ability, not by what one is able to create with their hands, but with their minds; art is bred from creativity, not by an exclusive talent such as drawing. Many of Art Club's members began with this misconception. Our purpose is to promote individuality, creativity, and to encourage others to make the world a better place through expressing their ideas, as well as to promote an interest in the visual arts.
About Art Club
Art Club always meets on Wednesday afternoons beginning at 4:10pm in Mrs. Wiley's room, W-9. In-person meetings are not mandatory as this website will provide you with all necessary information, but you are encouraged to attend to be a part of the decision-making process and snacks will be served.
Art Club members must complete a total of three projects for Art Club to attend our annual Scarborough Faire field trip in April. Members must complete a total of six projects to attend for free our end-of-the-year field trip.
